# How to Add an Affiliate Network

> Step-by-step guide for affiliate network offers in ClickFlare

To add an affiliate network in ClickFlare, follow these steps:

1. **Navigate to Affiliate Networks:** In ClickFlare, go to the Affiliate Networks section.
2. **Create a New Affiliate Network:** Click the + New button to initiate the process.

   You can choose between using a pre-configured template with predefined settings or creating a blank element by selecting the Other affiliate network option. Whichever option you choose, the **New affiliate network** form will appear.
3. Fill out the New Affiliate Network Form:

   ● **Name**: Provide a name for the affiliate network element in the Name field.

   ● **Workspace** (Optional): Choose a Workspace from the drop-down menu to assign this offer. If no Workspace is selected, the offer will be assigned to the Public workspace by default
4. Configure Parameters:

   ● **Click ID Placeholder**: Enter the affiliate network-specific token used to pass click ID values back to ClickFlare in a postback URL.

   ● **Payout Placeholder**: Enter the affiliate network-specific token used to pass payout values back to ClickFlare in a postback URL.

   ● **Transaction ID Placeholder**: Enter the affiliate network-specific token used to pass transaction ID values back to ClickFlare in a postback URL. This term can be used to distinguish an upsell from a sale, or, more in general, serve as a deduplication parameter.
5. Conversion tracking:

   ● **Tracking Domain**: Select a tracking domain from the Tracking domain drop-down menu.
   ● **Conversion Tracking Method:** Choose a conversion tracking method from the Tracking Method drop-down menu (*S2S postback URL*, *Tracking Pixel*, *Tracking Pixel URL*, *Tracking Script*).

   After choosing the right option from the drop-down menu, use the 'Copy' button next to the URL or script to save it to your clipboard.
6. **Set Default Offer Currency**: All offers associated with this affiliate network element will adopt the same currency selected in the affiliate network setup. Note that while this serves as a default, the payout tracking currency is determined by the offer settings. Therefore, the currency specified in an offer supersedes that of the affiliate network element.
7. **Additional Notes**: Add any relevant notes or information.
8. **Save**: Click the Save button to add the affiliate network element to ClickFlare.

✅ You have successfully added the affiliate network element to ClickFlare.
