The ad account is spending, but ClickFlare shows zero cost — or the figure froze at some point and has not moved since.

First, confirm which cost model you are on

ClickFlare gets cost in one of several ways, and the fix depends entirely on which one you chose when creating the campaign. If the campaign is set to a fixed model but you expected a live figure from the platform, nothing is broken — the campaign was never configured to pull. See Cost Models.

If you are using a cost integration

This is the most common cause of cost that used to work. Access tokens expire, passwords change, and two-factor prompts invalidate sessions. The integration stays listed in ClickFlare but silently stops returning data.Open the integration and reconnect it. See Adding an Integration.
A cost integration only fills campaigns whose traffic source it is assigned to. If you created a new traffic source — or duplicated an existing one — the integration will not cover it until you assign it.Check the integration’s traffic source configuration, then confirm the campaign uses that exact traffic source element.
Cost is matched by the ad platform’s campaign ID. If the campaign in ClickFlare is not passing that ID — because the traffic source token mapping is wrong or the campaign was built without the platform’s macros — there is nothing to match the spend against.A reliable tell: clicks arrive but the campaign ID column is empty. That is a token problem, not a cost problem. See Tokens arriving empty.
Integrations pull on a schedule, not continuously, and platforms themselves report spend with a delay. A campaign launched an hour ago may legitimately show zero. The cost update log tells you when ClickFlare last pulled and what it received — check that before changing any settings. See Cost Updates Logs.
On platforms with multiple ad accounts, agency access or MCC structures, it is easy to connect an account that does not contain the campaigns you are running. The integration then works correctly and returns nothing.

Cost is pulling but the number is wrong

Usually currency or timezone rather than a broken integration.
  • Currency. If the ad account bills in one currency and your workspace reports in another, figures are converted. See Multicurrency Support in ClickFlare.
  • Timezone. ClickFlare and the ad platform may bucket the same spend into different days. Compare a multi-day range rather than a single day.
  • Restatements. Platforms revise spend after the fact for invalid traffic. A figure that changes slightly the next day is normal.
If the gap is large and persistent rather than a rounding difference, see Numbers do not match.

If you are uploading cost manually

Manual uploads replace rather than accumulate, and they match on campaign and date. A file with a mismatched campaign identifier or an unexpected date format imports without error and fills nothing. See Manual Cost Upload.
