Trim Admixer profiles to the inventory that pays

Publisher and site reports

Publisher ID, Website ID and Referrer domain show which publishers and sites convert, so you can exclude the rest from your Admixer profile's inventory.

Payout sent to Admixer

The template postback sends the auction ID in clickid and the payout in sum, with no edits needed.

Every funnel step in one place

Create a custom conversion per step and report each one per publisher and website, whether or not Admixer receives it.

The auction ID as Admixer's click ID

Admixer fills ${AUCTION_ID} into auction_id when the creative is clicked. ClickFlare stores it as the External ID. On conversion, ClickFlare posts it back in clickid with type=1 and the payout in sum.
  • auction_id in the URL, clickid in the postback
  • type sets Admixer's conversion type
  • One postback per conversion type

Connected in four steps

You need an Admixer advertiser account with an advertiser created, a ClickFlare account with your own tracking domain, and an offer.
  1. Add the Admixer traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Admixer template. Keep Publisher ID, Website ID and Referrer domain on. Page URL and Timestamp are optional.
  2. Check the postback Under Passing conversion info to traffic source, the postback is on with type=1. Map it to Conversions, or ask Admixer for the type value of each extra event.
  3. Finish the campaign with CPC cost Set the Cost Model to CPC with your effective cost per click. Add lander and offer, save, and check the URL contains auction_id=${AUCTION_ID}.
  4. Build the creative and profile in Admixer Add a creative with the ClickFlare campaign URL as Main landing page URL. Create a campaign and profile, link the profile to the creative and activate it.

Clicks on display, video and native are a small share of impressions, so CPM divided by 1,000 understates cost. Use spend divided by clicks and correct it with a manual cost upload.

How media buyers run it

Programmatic display → offer

Buy Admixer display on CPM, compare publishers by ROI in ClickFlare, and remove weak inventory from the profile's black and white lists.

Native → article → search feed

Run Admixer native to an article with a search feed. ClickFlare records delayed revenue when it arrives and can pass it on.

Video → lander → offer

Track video creatives by creative ID and see which sites send visits that convert after the lander.
