Adnium zones and sites, sorted by what converts

ClickFlare's Adnium template captures Adnium's conversion ID, pop cost, and the ad zone, site, campaign, banner and visitor details on every visit. Conversions go to Adnium's conversion API with your API token and the payout, so Adnium stats match your ClickFlare reports.

Payout in Adnium stats

The postback sends amount={payout} to Adnium's conversion API, so the revenue Adnium shows matches the conversions ClickFlare recorded.

Pop cost on every visit

On pop campaigns Adnium passes {cost}, and a popunder impression is roughly one visit, so per-visit cost lines up with Not Tracked.

Adnium's conversion ID, sent back as atrack

Adnium fills {conversion} into the campaign URL. ClickFlare stores it as the External ID. On conversion, ClickFlare calls api.adnium.com with your API token, the stored ID as atrack and the payout as amount.
  • conversion in the URL, atrack in the postback
  • API token authenticates every call
  • Send amount in USD

Connected in four steps

You need an Adnium account with a generated API token, a ClickFlare account with your own tracking domain, and an offer.
  1. Generate your Adnium API token In Adnium, click the profile icon, choose My Profile, open API and click Generate. Conversion tracking only works once the token exists.
  2. Add the Adnium traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Adnium template. Turn on the postback, replace [GENERATE_API_TOKEN] with your token and delete &subid={trackingField1}.
  3. Finish the campaign Use Not Tracked cost for pop campaigns. Add your lander and offer, save, and copy the campaign URL from your own tracking domain.
  4. Create the campaign in Adnium In Advertisers → New campaign, work through targeting. At the banners step, pick your creative and paste the ClickFlare campaign URL as the destination URL. Submit for review.

Use cases

How media buyers run it

Popunder → offer

Buy Adnium popunders, record cost per visit from {cost}, and blacklist zones whose ROI stays negative after enough traffic.

Banners → lander → offer

Run 300x250 or 728x90 banners to a lander, upload daily spend, and compare sites by conversions to build a whitelist campaign.

SubID Optimization

Add {sub.id} to the template, find the SubIDs that perform, and enter up to 50 in Adnium's Keyword Targeting field.
