ADxAD campaigns, with up to three goals sent back

ClickFlare's ADxAD template captures the click ID plus user, impression, creative, campaign, project, site and partner on every click. Conversions go to ADxAD's Conversions Import Service by S2S postback with the payout in USD and a goal type, so ADxAD reports match your funnel.

Send ADxAD each funnel step as its own goal

Three goals per click

ADxAD accepts type=goal1, goal2 and goal3. Map registration and sale to separate goals, each tied to a ClickFlare custom conversion.

Site-level reports

Site ID shows which publisher sites convert, so you can black- or whitelist them in ADxAD's targeting.

Creative and project views

Creative, campaign and project IDs and names follow ADxAD's Project → Campaign → Creative structure, so reports read like your trading desk.

ADxAD's click ID into the Conversions Import Service

ADxAD fills {clickId} into clickid when the ad is clicked. ClickFlare stores it as the External ID. On conversion, ClickFlare sends it to conv.adxadserv.com with the payout in USD and the goal type.

Connected in four steps

You need a funded ADxAD advertiser account, a ClickFlare account with your own tracking domain, and an offer that posts conversions to ClickFlare.
  1. Add the ADxAD traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the ADxAD template. It maps {clickId} to the External ID and fills ten tracking fields.
  2. Turn on the postback Turn on Traffic source postback URL. There is nothing to replace. Map it to your main event, and add goal2 or goal3 postbacks for other steps.
  3. Finish the campaign Use CPC with CPM divided by 1,000 for popunders, or Not Tracked with manual uploads for other formats. Add lander and offer and copy the campaign URL.
  4. Create the campaign in ADxAD In Trade desk, create a project and a campaign. Paste the ClickFlare URL into Click url on the Click URL tab, add creatives, and enable project, campaign and creatives.

ADxAD's Bid holder is your CPM bid, a price per 1,000 impressions. Don't use it as cost. Real CPM can sit below your bid, so compare Cost with ADxAD Reports.

Use cases

How media buyers run it

Asian popunder → offer

Buy ADxAD popunders on CPM, set CPC to the bid divided by 1,000, and exclude sites that spend without converting.
Banner → lander → offer

Registration then sale

Send registration as goal1 and sale as goal2 so ADxAD reports show both steps.

Native creative testing

Run several native creatives in one campaign and compare them by creative name and ROI before scaling the project.
