ClickFlare reads Appnext's xapnt1x click ID, your bid and 8 macros, including publisher app, sub-publisher and advertising ID, from the campaign URL. Each conversion goes back to Appnext by S2S postback as action=install, with the device ID, country, city and IP.

Good to know
Bid is passed as cost. Use CPA for CPI and CPA campaigns.

Publisher and sub-source detail
Publisher App ID and Sub Publisher ID land in every report. See which publishers and sub-sources convert, then block or bid them up in Appnext.
Device ID sent back
The postback returns the GAID or IDFA captured from xapnt6x, along with country, city and IP, so Appnext can match each install to its click.
Cost that fits the pricing model
The Pricing model column shows CPI, CPC or CPA per click. Use Not Tracked on CPC and CPA in ClickFlare for CPI and CPA, so spend isn't overstated.

xapnt1x in, action=install back to Appnext
Appnext fills xapnt1x in ClickFlare's cid parameter and ClickFlare stores it. When your offer or attribution partner reports a conversion, ClickFlare calls admin.appnext.com with that ID in clickid and action=install.

Setup
Connected in four steps
You need an Appnext advertiser account, a ClickFlare offer or attribution partner that posts conversions back, and your own tracking domain.
Create the Appnext traffic source In a new campaign, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Appnext template. It fills cid=xapnt1x, your bid as cost and 8 tracking macros.
Turn on the postback Turn on Traffic source postback URL. It needs no changes: it sends the click ID, action=install, the advertising ID, country, city and IP. Map it to the event Appnext charges for.
Match the Cost Model to pricing Use Not Tracked for CPC campaigns and CPA with your bid for CPI and CPA. Choose Redirect, then copy the campaign URL and paste it as the Appnext tracking link.
Test with Set Tracking In Manage Campaigns, click Set Tracking and send the test link to your phone. Convert on a matching device, check Logs → Postback Status, then click Check for Active.
Appnext's public docs cover tracking through its listed attribution partners. Confirm with your account manager that they accept ClickFlare conversions and which action names they want.
