Clickadu traffic, with the zone sent back too

The Clickadu template captures the click ID from ${SUBID}, the cost of each visit and the zone ID. On each conversion, ClickFlare posts the click ID, payout and zone ID to sconvtrk.com, so Clickadu's Smart eCPA bidding learns from your real results.

Cost per visit

Give Smart eCPA the conversions it bids on

Zone ID in both directions

zoneid lands in tracking field 1 for your reports, and the postback sends it back to Clickadu as zone_id with every conversion.

Cost per visit from the URL

Clickadu fills {cost} on each click. With the Not Tracked cost model, ROI follows what Clickadu actually charged.

One clean event

Clickadu can't tell a lead from a sale. Map one postback to the event that predicts profit, so eCPA matches your real results.

How a Clickadu click finds its way back

Clickadu opens your campaign URL with ${SUBID} in visitor_id, the cost and the zone. ClickFlare stores the click ID as the External ID. On conversion, it fires sconvtrk.com with that ID, the payout and the zone ID from tracking field 1.
  • visitor_id is the name on both sides
  • Replace REPLACE_HASH and REPLACE_AID only
  • Nine tracking fields left free for extra macros

Connected in four steps

You need a Clickadu account with Tracking access, your own tracking domain and an offer in ClickFlare.
  1. Add the Clickadu traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Clickadu template. It fills in the click ID, cost and zone ID. Keep the zone in tracking field 1.
  2. Fill in your hash and aid On Clickadu's Tracking page, copy the unique identifier between /conversion/ and /? and the value after aid=. Paste them over REPLACE_HASH and REPLACE_AID in the template's postback.
  3. Copy the campaign URL Set the cost model to Not Tracked so ClickFlare reads the cost from the URL. Add your offer, save and copy the campaign URL from your own domain.
  4. Launch and test the postback Paste the URL into the creative's Target URL in Clickadu. Open it with visitor_id=test123, convert, and check Logs → Postback Status for a request to sconvtrk.com.

Group by zone ID, blacklist the zones that don't pay and let Smart eCPA bid on the rest.

Final-sale optimization

Leads and sales both show in ClickFlare, but only the sale fires the postback, so Clickadu's eCPA reflects revenue.
