ClickBank sales and rebills, pulled straight from the API

ClickFlare connects to ClickBank with your API key and pulls conversions and revenue into your reports. Sales, upsells, rebills, refunds, chargebacks and fees each map to their own custom conversion. No postback is needed.

6 event types

Every ClickBank event, no postback to manage

No postback to maintain

ClickFlare pulls every event type through the API. Once the integration is saved, you don't set up postbacks or take extra steps in ClickBank.

Rebills and refunds in view

Track BILL, RFND and CGBK next to SALE, so ROI reflects recurring revenue and the money that went back to buyers.

Upsells counted apart

ClickFlare distinguishes UPSELL conversions, so front-end sales and upsells can sit in separate report columns.

A dedicated click ID macro for ClickBank

ClickBank needs its own token. Pass {clickbank_click_id} in the tid parameter of the offer URL instead of the usual {cf_click_id}. ClickFlare then matches the events it pulls from the API to the original click.
  • tid carries the ClickBank click ID
  • One custom conversion per event type
  • You choose what counts in Revenue

Setup

Connected in four steps

You need an active ClickBank account, a ClickBank API key and an active ClickFlare account.
  1. Create a ClickBank API key In ClickBank, go to Settings, then API Management, and click Create New API Key. Name it, check Analytics API and Orders/Tickets API Read, and copy the key.
  2. Add the integration in ClickFlare Open Settings, then Integrations. Under Affiliate Network Integrations, click Add Integration, name it, choose ClickBank as the Integration Type, paste the key and save.
  3. Create the Sale custom conversion In Custom Conversions, create a conversion called Sale and turn on Include in Conversions and Revenue. Add one for each other event type you want, such as RFND or BILL.
  4. Pass the click ID in the offer URL Add tid={clickbank_click_id} to your ClickBank offer URL in ClickFlare. Use this macro, not {cf_click_id}, so pulled conversions match the click.

Ready to track
Create at least the Sale custom conversion, even if you don't need any other event type. Without it, ClickFlare misses conversions and revenue.

What you see once it's connected

  • Sales per campaign
  • Upsell revenue
  • Rebills (BILL)
  • Refunds and chargebacks
  • Fees per campaign
  • ROI by traffic source
Use cases

How media buyers run it

Native → presell → ClickBank offer

Front end plus upsells

Compare SALE and UPSELL columns to see which angles bring buyers who take the upsell.

Subscription offers

Track BILL events next to the first sale, so a campaign with a thin front-end ROI isn't cut before its rebills land.

Refund-aware scaling

Watch RFND and CGBK by traffic source and placement. Pull back on sources whose buyers refund or charge back more.
