Kwai Ads conversions, posted to your Kwai pixel

The Kwai template captures Kwai's click ID from __CALLBACK__ and the campaign, ad set and creative names. ClickFlare posts each conversion server to server to your Kwai pixel's event endpoint on adsnebula.com, with the event name you choose, so it works on offers whose pages you don't control.

Kwai optimization without pixel code on the offer

Works on any offer page

The postback sends each event to your pixel server to server, so Kwai learns from conversions on offers you can't add code to.

One postback per Kwai event

Map a lead to EVENT_COMPLETE_REGISTRATION and a sale to EVENT_PURCHASE, each with its own postback and custom conversion.

Names readable from day one

The campaign, ad set and creative name macros work as they are, so you can compare them in ClickFlare straight away.

From __CALLBACK__ to a Kwai pixel event

Kwai opens your campaign URL with a coded click ID in click_id and its name macros. ClickFlare stores the click ID as the External ID. On conversion, it posts the click ID, your pixel ID, access token and event name to Kwai.
  • click_id in the URL, clickid in the postback
  • Replace both REPLACE values in the postback
  • Hard-code your pixel ID or pass it per campaign

Setup

Connected in four steps

You need a Kwai for Business account with a Developer Mode pixel, its pixel ID and access token, your own tracking domain and an offer in ClickFlare.
  1. Create a Developer Mode pixel In Kwai for Business, go to Assets → Web Events → Set up Web Events. Choose Kwai Pixel, Manually Install Pixel Code and Developer Mode. Note the pixel ID and access token.
  2. Add the Kwai traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Kwai template. Leave the External ID row as it is: click_id with __CALLBACK__.
  3. Complete the postback Turn on the postback. Replace access_token=REPLACE with your token, {trackingField7} with your pixel ID, and event_name=REPLACE with the exact event, for example EVENT_PURCHASE.
  4. Launch and check the logs Set a CPC cost model and paste the campaign URL as the ad's destination URL. After a conversion, check Logs → Postback Status for no leftover REPLACE.

Use cases

How media buyers run it

Kwai → lander → lead offer

Kwai to lead-gen offers

Post EVENT_COMPLETE_REGISTRATION so the ad set optimizes on sign-ups.
Kwai → offer

Kwai to e-commerce offers

Send EVENT_PURCHASE from ClickFlare, since you can't place pixel code on the offer's checkout.

Several pixels, one source

Enter each campaign's pixel ID in the Pixel ID row's token, so one Kwai traffic source reports to different pixels.
