Pushnami Ads clicks, matched to real revenue per website

ClickFlare's Pushnami Ads template records the conversion ID, the current bid as cost, and the creative, website, campaign, device and location of each push click. Conversions go back to Pushnami by S2S postback with their dollar value, so Source Optimization bids toward your Target CPA on real results.

Give Pushnami Source Optimization real conversions

Website-level bidding

The template sends {{=data.adsourceid}}, which lets Pushnami tie conversions to websites and bid each one up or down toward your Target CPA.

Cost on every click

<<ad_cost>> passes the current bid, including source-level bids. With Not Tracked cost, ClickFlare records it on each visit.

Test before you spend

Pushnami's Link Builder generates a test URL with a sample conversion ID, so you can check the whole loop before launch.

One conversion ID, one counted conversion

Pushnami fills <<conversion_id>> into click_id when a subscriber clicks. ClickFlare stores it as the External ID. On conversion, ClickFlare posts it back in t with the payout in v, and Pushnami credits the campaign, creative and source.
  • click_id in the URL, t in the postback
  • v is a plain dollar value, optional
  • No event parameter: pick one event

Connected in four steps

You need a funded Pushnami Ads account with an approved creative, a ClickFlare account with your own tracking domain, and an offer.
  1. Add the Pushnami Ads traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Pushnami Ads template. It fills the conversion ID, cost and ten tracking fields.
  2. Turn on the postback Turn on Traffic source postback URL. Nothing needs replacing. Map it to Conversions, or to the custom conversion Pushnami should learn from.
  3. Finish the campaign Set the Cost Model to Not Tracked so ClickFlare uses <<ad_cost>>. Add lander and offer, save, and copy the campaign URL from your own tracking domain.
  4. Paste the URL into each creative In Pushnami, add a campaign, then open Creatives → Add Creative and paste the campaign URL into Destination Link. Use Test Link to check the External ID arrives.

How media buyers run it

Push → lander → offer

Send US push traffic to a lander, compare websites by revenue in ClickFlare, and block or whitelist them from Pushnami's Spend tab.

Target CPA on sales

Map the postback to a purchase custom conversion so Source Optimization bids on sales, not leads. Leads still show in ClickFlare.

Push → article → search feed

Run push to an RSOC article. Send delayed revenue in a single postback, since Pushnami counts each conversion ID once.
