RichAds push and pops, each with its own template

ClickFlare has two RichAds templates: RichAds push and RichAds pops. Both capture the click ID, the winning price and source details such as publisher and site. One postback to xml.auxml.com sends each conversion back with its payout in price, with no account key to copy.

Feed RichAds' optimization tools real payouts

Target CPA on real revenue

Target CPA, Automated Rules and Micro Bidding read the conversions and price you send. The postback gives them your payout on every conversion.

Optimize by subscriber list

Turn on the Subscriber list ID row in the push template to see which lists convert, next to publisher and site.

Zone data for pops

The pops template captures zone_id and site_id, so you can block the popunder zones that spend without converting.

One postback for both RichAds formats

RichAds opens your campaign URL with its click ID in click_id and the winning price. ClickFlare stores the click ID as the External ID. On conversion, it sends the click ID back in key and the payout in price. RichAds identifies your account from the click ID.
  • Push cost: [BID_PRICE], the winning click price
  • Pops cost: [CPV_PRICE], check its unit
  • click_id in the URL, key in the postback

Connected in four steps

You need a RichAds advertiser account, your own tracking domain and an offer in ClickFlare.
  1. Pick the template for your format In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick RichAds push for push and in-page push, or RichAds pops for popunder. Running both? Create two traffic sources.
  2. Turn on the postback Switch on Traffic source postback URL. The template fills it in, with {external_id} in key and {payout} in price. There is nothing to replace.
  3. Copy the campaign URL Set the cost model to Not Tracked so ClickFlare uses the price RichAds passes. Add your offer, save and copy the campaign URL from your own domain.
  4. Launch and check the postback Paste the URL into your RichAds campaign. After the first conversion, check Logs → Postback Status for a request to xml.auxml.com with a real click ID in key.

Use cases

How media buyers run it

RichAds push → lander → offer

Push to offer

Group by sub_list_id and site_id and raise bids on the lists that convert.
RichAds pops → offer

Popunder to offer

Group by zone_id and site_id, then block zones whose cost outruns their payout.

Lead, then approved sale

Pops guide: send leads with action=conversion and approved sales with action=conversion1, each mapped to its own custom conversion.
