Rumble Ads video traffic, tracked to the conversion

Rumble appends its _raclid click ID to every click, and the template captures site, zone, device and keyword macros. ClickFlare posts conversions with payout to the Rumble conversion action in caid, and the cost integration pulls spend from Rumble's API every hour, down to ad level.

CPM video spend, matched to conversions

Real spend on CPM buys

Rumble prices most buys per thousand impressions and documents no cost macro. The cost integration pulls actual spend every hour instead.

Sites and zones that convert

siteid, sitedomain and adzone show which publisher sites and zones pay, so you can add them to your white or black lists in Rumble.

One action per funnel step

Each Rumble conversion action has its own caid. Send leads and purchases to separate actions with separate postbacks.

_raclid in, cid and caid out

Rumble adds _raclid to the URL by itself, so the template names the parameter and leaves the macro empty. On a conversion, ClickFlare sends it back as cid, with the conversion action ID in caid and the payout in value.
  • No test tool, so test with a live click
  • Check that each macro column fills after launch
  • Paste the URL into Product Link unchanged

Connected in four steps

You need a Rumble Ads account with a conversion action, a Rumble Auth Key from your account manager or support, and a ClickFlare account with your own tracking domain.
  1. Create a conversion action In Rumble Ads, go to Advertisers → Conversion Tracking, create the action you want to count, for example Purchase, and copy the ID number next to it.
  2. Add the Rumble traffic source In the campaign editor, add a traffic source from the Rumble template. Turn on Traffic source postback URL and replace REPLACE in caid with your conversion action ID.
  3. Launch in Rumble Go to Advertisers → New Campaign, choose the ad type and format, and paste the ClickFlare campaign URL into Product Link. Add your creatives and submit.
  4. Pull hourly cost Add the Rumble cost integration with your Auth Key and a timezone that matches your account. Select it on the traffic source and set the campaign Cost Model to Not Tracked.

Without the cost integration, use a CPC cost model with your CPM bid divided by 1,000. On video this overstates cost, so correct it with a manual cost upload.
