Traffic Nomads zones, judged on deposits, not sign-ups

ClickFlare's Traffic Nomads template captures the click ID plus publisher, zone, campaign, device and country on every click. Conversions go back to node2.trafficnomads.com by S2S postback with the payout and publisher ID, so Traffic Nomads can optimize on the deposits your casino or sportsbook reports.

Publisher & zone data

Find the Traffic Nomads zones that bring depositors

Zone and publisher reports

Pub ID and Zone show which publishers and zones bring depositors, so you can blacklist or bid up sources in Traffic Nomads.

Deposits for FTD Magnet AI

Traffic Nomads' FTD Magnet AI optimizes on deposits. Send the FTD as its own event so it doesn't chase zones that register but never deposit.

Late deposits still count

Deposits can land days after the click. Read reports by click date, and ClickFlare can pass revenue that arrives later back to the source.

Click ID and publisher, sent back together

Traffic Nomads fills {clickid} and {pubid} into the campaign URL. ClickFlare stores the click ID as the External ID and the publisher in tracking field 1. On conversion, it posts both back with the payout.
  • Keep Pub ID on tracking field 1
  • payout is read in your account currency
  • Verify the template's cost row before relying on it

Connected in four steps

You need a Traffic Nomads advertiser account, a ClickFlare account with your own tracking domain, and an operator or network posting conversions to ClickFlare.
  1. Add the Traffic Nomads traffic source In the campaign editor, click + New Traffic Source and pick the Traffic Nomads template. Keep the externalId row and Pub ID on tracking field 1.
  2. Turn on the postback Turn on Traffic source postback URL. It sends clickid, payout and pubid. Map it to Conversions, or to an ftd custom conversion.
  3. Finish the campaign Start with Not Tracked cost to test the template's cost row, or use CPC with your bid. Add lander and offer, save, and copy the campaign URL.
  4. Create the campaign in Traffic Nomads Log in, create a campaign, choose the format and paste the ClickFlare campaign URL. For deposit optimization, set up second-event tracking with your account manager.

The cost row reads a parameter named payout, meant as click price. Traffic Nomads doesn't document it, so compare Cost with your spend and switch to CPC if it is zero or wrong.

Use cases

How media buyers run it

Pop → pre-lander → casino

Run Traffic Nomads pops to a pre-lander that links to the ClickFlare click URL, then send FTDs back so zones are judged on depositors.

Push → sportsbook

Send push traffic to a betting offer, track registration and ftd as custom conversions, and give each click-date cohort time to mature.

Redeposit revenue

Deposits and redeposits arrive long after the click. Pass the later revenue back so Traffic Nomads sees player value.
