TrafficJunky spots, ranked by what they earn

ClickFlare reads TrafficJunky's ACLID click ID and 9 macros, including site, spot and creative, from the campaign URL. Each conversion goes back to your TrafficJunky Conversion Tracker by S2S postback, with the payout if you add it.

Bid on TrafficJunky spots with real conversion data

Spot and site in every row

TrafficJunky sells by spot. {SpotID} and {SiteName} land in your reports, so you can see which spots convert and where to raise or drop bids.

Creative winners at a glance

{AdID}, {BanID} and {BanName} are captured on each click. Compare creatives by conversion rate and ROI, not by click-through alone.

Payout shown inside TrafficJunky

Add &ctv={payout} to the postback and TrafficJunky shows each conversion's value next to your spend, so its stats and yours agree.

ACLID in, conversion tracker postback out

TrafficJunky fills {ACLID} in the campaign URL and ClickFlare stores it as the External ID. On conversion, ClickFlare calls your tracker's postback with that ID in aclid, plus the payout in ctv if you add it.
  • ACLID uppercase in the URL, aclid lowercase in the postback
  • One conversion tracker per event
  • Macro capitalization must stay exact

Connected in four steps

You need a TrafficJunky account with a conversion tracker, a ClickFlare offer that posts conversions back, and your own tracking domain.
  1. Create the TrafficJunky traffic source In a new campaign, click + New Traffic Source and pick the TrafficJunky template. It fills ACLID and 9 macros for campaign, site, spot, location, banner and creative.
  2. Create a Conversion Tracker In TrafficJunky, go to Tools → Conversion Tracker and add a tracker. Click View under Invocation Code, open the Postback URL tab and copy the a and member_id values.
  3. Fill in the postback Turn on Traffic source postback URL. Replace both REPLACE placeholders, then add &ctv={payout} and &cti={txid}. If TrafficJunky's URL starts with /ct, match that path.
  4. Set cost and launch Set the Cost Model to CPC with your cost per visit. Paste the campaign URL as the ad's Target URL, launch with a small budget and check Logs → Postback Status.

How media buyers run it

TrafficJunky banner → offer

Spot pruning on CPM bids

Group by SpotID, drop the spots that cost more than they return and raise bids on the rest.
Banner → lander → offer

Sign-up and sale as two trackers

Send sign-ups and sales to separate TrafficJunky trackers. member_id stays the same, only a changes.

Creative testing by AdID

Run several creatives per campaign and compare them by AdID in ClickFlare. Keep the ones that convert, not the ones that only get clicks.
