Visymo tracking that keeps redirects working

Query and locale kept intact

ClickFlare stores the search query and locale as traffic source parameters and passes both to Visymo, which needs them to redirect.

Every Visymo event counted

The postback sends the event type in ct, so each Visymo event lands on its own custom conversion, with Visymo Ad Click carrying revenue.

Channel and geo per click

The postback returns the Visymo channel (asid) in param10 and the geo in param12, plus query, domain and click details in other params.

Three parameters Visymo can't do without

Visymo needs q (search query), locale and ctid (the ClickFlare click ID) on every visit. You store q and locale as traffic source parameters, then map them into the offer URL with their tracking field tokens.
  • q → Search Query tracking field
  • locale → Locale tracking field
  • ctid={cf_click_id} on every offer URL

Setup

Connected in five steps

You need Visymo access through JAM, with its username, password, partner and domain, and a ClickFlare account.
  1. Add the Visymo integration Go to RSOC Integrations > Visymo/JAMPROJECT > New Integration. Enter a name and the username, password, partner and domain JAM provided.
  2. Add the custom domain In Domains, add a new domain with subdomain trk and the root domain from JAM, and pick Other as DNS provider. A CNAME error is safe to ignore; ClickFlare fixes it in the backend.
  3. Add query and locale parameters In your traffic source, add Search Query (parameter q, token {search_query}) and Locale (parameter locale, token {locale}).
  4. Build the offer URL Use the Facebook or TikTok template with asid, rac, de and pub. Append q and locale with their tracking field tokens, plus ctid={cf_click_id}.
  5. Add the postback and conversions Create the custom conversions for Visymo events. Add the postback with click_id=ctid, param10={asid}, param12={geo} and ct={type}, then select Visymo Ad Click in the integration.

Facebook → Visymo search page

Facebook to Visymo

Pass fbclid, the query and the locale, and compare ads on Visymo Ad Click revenue.
TikTok → Visymo search page

TikTok to Visymo

Use the TikTok template with ttclid and pub=tiktok, and keep the same query and locale mapping.
